Whoa – where did last week go?? I’m sorry I haven’t been around!
Last week was a blur. Between sick kids (again), seeing the tax man, and AUNT FLOW coming back into my life (Yay.), I was discombobulated and just trying to get through the week.
Although I have to say that seeing this handsome face every day sure makes it all easier to deal with:
Then came Saturday morning – Weight Watchers meeting day (dun dun dunnnnn)…
…and I did NOT want to go.
I didn’t track a bite last week.
I had a day or two where I ate anything not nailed down. (Thank YOU Aunt Flow. See ya next month.)
I made no attempt to exercise.
And the scale said…
I lost 0.4 pounds!!!
Well okay then! Dodged that bullet I guess. Now it’s time to get serious again.
Oh hey – have you emailed me about the 10K a Day In May challenge yet? Well, get on it – you’ve got two weeks to get ready before we get steppin’! And by “you”, I mean ME – my goal this week is to take some serious steps.
And if you think you HAVE to hit 10K steps a day – that’s just not true! I believe in the saying, “Shoot for the moon, you might land on a star.” If you wake up each morning and try for that 10K, and get 5K steps in, then hey! You did 5K! At least for me, that’s a LOT better than what I’m currently doing.
So don’t be intimidated by the number – just get your pedometer on and start walking. Aim to do it every day, no matter how many steps you take. That alone will do wonders for you!
