Where, oh where, did the weekend just go? Wasn’t it just Friday? Even with that extra hour, this weekend went by way too fast.
Check out my little witches:
Aren’t they just the cutest? And just to show you I have the best mom in the world…those awesome witch costumes? She made them. With her own two hands (and a sewing machine). Amazing, no? The poor woman slept for about an hour the night before finishing them, though – good thing the girls loved the outfits!!!
So, I didn’t have just 5 pieces of candy on Halloween. Now, don’t shake your disappointed head at me just yet…
I had only 1 piece. Just one little Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.
ONE!!!! I was very, very proud of myself Saturday night, I have to tell you. And now, the candy must go. I’m sending my hubby into work with a sack – the girls have a couple of pieces to enjoy, but the rest must go before “Aunt Flow” arrives next week!
And to distract you from the fact that I am not posting progress pictures today, here are a few more shots of my little cuties:
What? You still want to know why I don’t have new progress pics? *sigh* Okay, I’ll tell. I realized that the last time I took progress pictures I was nearly the same weight as I am right now, so I want to wait until I’m down a few more pounds so I can really see a difference. Give me a few weeks, I’ll have new pics before the end of the month, scout’s honor.
In the meantime, I did do some measurements:
04.30.09 Starting Measurements
Waist = 43″
Hips = 50.75″
Thigh = 28.5″
Upper Arm = 15.25″
11.02.09 Measurements
Waist = 39″ (-4″)
Hips = 45.5″ (-5.25″)
Thigh = 24.5″ (-4″)
Upper Arm = 14.75″ (-.5″)
Total inches lost = 13.75″
Lookin’ good, eh? I’m really hoping I get another 2 pound loss this week, ’cause that would put me at an all-time low. I’ve spent the last 3 weeks battling the weight I gained while I was “off the wagon”, so it will be nice to get into some new low numbers again.
Alrighty peeps! I’m off to do my thing. Have a great day! Drink your water, eat your veggies, and be kind to yo self, yo.

Awww they look adorable!
I had a little witch & a dragon here. lol
My little guy really caught on to the whole TOT idea & now keeps walking around with his TOT bag chirpring "tick oh tweets" & holding it out to me. :)
Candy went to work with dh today here, too. Be gone!!
Have a great week – best wishes on the 2lbs! If I can lose the 1.5 I'm aiming for I'll be as low as I've been in years myself. Something to look forward to!
Best wishes,
Lynn
holy inches, batman! that's awesome – congrats!!
Very cute witches! I also had one piece of candy during trick or treat…I had a snack size Snickers, but I gained this week. BOO.
My mom is a whackjob, but she made the Blue and Magenta costumes, she definitely has some talent!
Don't ever give up, you can do it. Walking and jogging take fat off the ass first. It worked for me, please consider it.
Secretia
I did land up buying chocolates for the kids in our area and thank goodness I did as I had lots of little ones at my door – imagine if this English aunt didn't have anything to give the German kids…imagine!!!
Good on you for only have one piece – I had about 8!!! of those caramel sweets…tasted so good I could not stop…thankfully all are now gone as I was worried about what I would do if there was any left behind.
You doing so well…keep it up as you are not only inspiring me but all of your 199 visitors to your blog…
oh and your girls are the cutest for sure….x
Well done to your mom on those fantastic witch costumes.
The girls look sooooo cute! Love the costumes. Your Mom did a great job.
WTG on losing those inches, girl. Awesome!!
Adorable little witches!! Too cute!! And i love that your mom made the costumes…sounds like something my mom would do. She sewed a LOT for us when we were kids (of course, they were broke, so that was a great motivator, lol). Thanks for the comment on my blog today…you made me blush!! And you've lost a TON of inches girl! I haven't taken measurements at all since I started 5 months ago. I guess I'm just too lazy, lol. Need to do it though, especially now that I've joined the gym and started on the weight machines. Might make me feel better to see some inches gone even when the scale's being a b*tch. And I only had 1 pc of candy, too. A miniature Reese's cup…44 calories…woo hoo!! :)
Yeah on your candy consumption! I really thought I would be one of the least and all the comments I got I was one of the most. ROFL Yeah YOU!
Oh my gosh! They are so cute! Great job on the one piece of candy!
Love the costumes, your mom deserves a pat on the back. Good for you just eating one piece of candy, I wish I could say the same. :-)
CUTE kiddos! And WTG with the one candy-you a wonder woman!!! :D
