Hi all!
Hope you guys had a great weekend. Did you get some rest? Have some fun? I did a bit of both, plus a lot of wondering, lol…
Saturday was a pretty quiet day around these parts – just hanging with the kids, playing at the park. Yesterday we went to Willowbrook Park in Staten Island for a picnic in honor of my “little” brother’s birthday. I put “little” in quotes because he is over a foot taller than me!
The girls enjoyed spending the day outside, and had fun hanging with their Nana & PopPop.
The best part of this park was the HUGE carousel they had there. The girls must have gone on that thing about 5 or 6 times!Of course, I got sick riding on it, lol! Yup, still having symptoms of possible pregnancy. If I am preggo, it would be a good thing – we were going to start trying soon, anyway. I was hoping to be under 200 before that happened, but God has a funny way of saying, “Uh, yeah – you don’t really get to control things like this!“
SO. I’m not going to really know if I’ve got a bun in the oven for another week and 1/2. In the meantime, I am going to up my calories to maintain my current weight. I don’t want to eat a restricted calorie level and risk hurting a baby if there is one. I will continue my workout schedule…OH – by the way, I went to the gym FIVE TIMES last week, Holla!
I am going to weigh in every day to make sure my weight stays the same. Then at the end of next week, if Aunt Flow doesn’t show, I’ll pee on a stick and see what happens!
GAH! This is so crazy!!! If I really am preggo, then this kid REALLY wanted to be here because we have been very careful. The Hubs and I are excited, too, so if I’m not pregnant, we’re going to be dissapointed. My emotions are all over the place, people!! The one good thing – I’m not looking to eat them away. Actually, I’ve been so queasy the last couple of days that eating has not been a main concern of mine. Figures!
Have a great week, everyone! I’m off to read up on your blogs!

You're right – pregnancies don't always happen when planned! We have seven kids, so I know how that goes! My first three were when I was obese, and the last four after I lost 150 lbs. I hope you are expecting!
I think it was a sign that I was going to be overweight: when I was a little kid and went on the carousel, I always rode the little couch.
FIVE TIMES? Amazing! Ahh, possible pregnancy…you have me all nervous for you! :) You're doing grrreattt, girl :)
I know more about NOT being pregnant than actually being pregnant, but this sounds like it could be it! Woohoo!
Jack Fit cracks me up…
Congrats on going to the gym! And my fingers are crossed for your possible bun :)
Yay, for going to the gym 5 times and for making good choices! I don't know how you can wait! I would want to know! Hope you are not disappointed!
I know nothing about being pregnant. LOL.
Good job hitting up the gym 5 times!
Awesome hitting the gym!
Fingers crossed that you're pregnant! I just found out my baby brother's going to be a daddy, I'm soooo excited for him and his wife! I've gotta stop calling him my baby brother lol, he's like 23 years old…I think. Or 22 lol.
I hope the preggers situation comes out the way you want. Good luck.
I cant wait to find out if your prego! Awesome for hitting the gym 5 days this week.
exciting possibilities…
I can't even get my fat ass to the gym once let alone 5 times AND I don't have kids! That is
S-A-D. Awesome job on that Jenn. I like that pic of you and your lil bro. Your smile is radiant.
I would not be able to wait another week!
